We had an amazing time last night. Thanks for giving my son such a wonderful introduction to live theatre! Talented cast and crew, an original adaption of the play that made me want to go back and read the book, wonderful music and dance. We will definitely be back to catch future shows at Angelus.cardboardhut (Instagram)

Fun and Entertaining for the family!Vanessa F.
I liked the use of the stage and the aisles, and the set/scenery/lighting changes clearly distinguished scenes. The actors were all very lively and engaging as well, they really embraced their characters.Lauren W.
The writing is so so clever, every line sounds like poetry, and the structure of the plot is tightJenna R.
The set was incredible! I loved that they had a foundational set and then swapped out props and other decorations to change the scenery. It was creative! I thought the actors did a good job with their accents. The music was catchy and the story was fun. My favorite character was Dr. John Livesy! I love his complexity and relation to Jim Hawkins and John Silver. I love the dynamic that Livesy and Silver both care for Jim but they both are tempted by the treasure and have to decide which one they will choose. Great character arcs. I saw last year's production of Treasure Island and I liked that it was similar but also different. It made it feel like it was the director's and actors telling the story instead of copying last years ideas and interpretations. Great job everyone! :)Elizabeth Adams
It was very lively and fun. The story was compelling, and the music was super catchy and impressive.Jade Higley
Loved Parker Brooks' interpretation of LivesyCJ Whitaker
The writing was fantastic! I loved all the clever jabs and piratey bits.N. L.
Treasure Island is one of my favorite stories of all time. I've read the book several times and seen too many renditions to count. I love when writers shake up the story to give us something new, and the plot of this particular play was very clever. I enjoyed the new dynamics it gave characters and the adorable childlike immaturity it bestowed upon Jim Hawkins. Parker Brook was especially talented, bringing his expanded character to life with delightful charm.Lauren J.J.
I love this show! Saw it last year and this year. I especially loved Parker Brook's sincerity as Dr Livesy, Jenna Rhodes's virtuoso singing, Chris Valenzuela's Latin heat as Israel Hands, and Garion Jorgensen's character as Billy Bones. The show has lots of catchy tunes and some wonderful themes.Suzette W.
